Practice, Day One

Beautiful weather, a little boat maintenance, and a solid day of practice. Lots of variation in the conditions on day one. Big, random shifts, huge swings in wind strength meant lots of shifting gears and tuning and retuning. Great conditions for learning strategy and how to gain and lose. Lots of new sails 3 of 4 sailors sporting very crispy looking sails.

And, a little creative boat launching as we invented a nice way to launch a power boat without a hitch on the truck... Don't ask what we are doing with a coach boat, a truck, and no hitch.
